History
With the advent of commerce in the late middle ages, a strong middle class grew from the development of smiths, cobblers, tanners, millers and masons.
As trade flourished, economies prospered and consumer tastes evolved from boiled cabbage to Oscar Meyer Lunchables.
There were a few steps in between1, none of which could have taken place without the development of a powerful consumer base, the industrial revolution, mass media, modern retailing, brand managers and consultants.
During this time, ancestors of Edgewood’s partners immigrated to the USA.
In the mid-1990s two CPG veterans from Nabisco joined forces to form Edgewood Consulting Group with a vision of helping clients with superior insights, strategy and implementation that generate results and sustainable competitive advantage.
Edgewood has grown, and nearly a dozen years later and with over 50 Progressive Grocer commendations for category development and innovation, we remain as committed as ever to being your consumer and customer marketing resource: “where insights drive innovation” for
our clients and their retail partners.
